What are Aeroblades?
Aeroblade turbofans and shrouds for road and racing vehicles are designed to enhance aerodynamics and improve performance. Here are some key points:
Aerodynamics: Similar to aircraft applications, turbofans and shrouds on road and racing vehicles are designed to reduce aerodynamic drag. By smoothing the airflow around the wheels, they contribute to improved efficiency and better overall performance.
Brake Cooling: Turbofans are designed with features that help direct airflow to cool the vehicle’s brakes. Effective brake cooling is crucial, especially in high-performance and racing scenarios, to prevent brake fade and maintain optimal braking performance. Shrouds do the opposite, helping brakes maintain heat which is why they are often seen on rear wheels only.
Aesthetic Enhancements: Aeroblades will massively enhance the visual appeal of your ride, giving it a more polished and streamlined appearance. Wheels on their own just don’t cut it anymore.
Material and Design: Our turbofans and shrouds for road and racing vehicles are made from lightweight and durable materials, such as composite materials or high-quality aluminium. We design fascia pates to mimic the look of your wheel, further adding to the visual appeal of Aeroblades.
Customisation: All Aeroblade products can be customised to suit your wheel and your style, personalising the appearance through the finish from carbon fibre to anodising or powder coating. Fascia plates can be added or vinyl graphics to enhance the overall look of your turbofan or shroud.
